“Beautiful”

My girlfriend took me there as it was a part of her childhood and it was incredible. Great walk around with loads to do. Beautiful scenery and a lovely day out.

“Afternoon tea”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

This place is a little bit special and the perfect venue to take your partner for an afternoon tea treat. It is an amazing building with extensive grounds and a pleasant orangery in which to dine. Gift vouchers ensure the place is always very busy so booking well in advance is essential.

“A lovely place to spend the afternoon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

Very nice park, and a most enjoyable walk. Would have been even nicer on a slightly quieter day (We went on a bank holiday weekend) Took the slightly longer of the two main walks through teh forest, and this helped to thin the crowd a bit.

Also did the Brown discovery walk - didn't mind it at all, as we wanted to stretch our legs, but it is essentially a 2.5 mile walk around an empty field, with the odd information board along the way - probably not one for the kids!

“Nice Country Park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

A nice country park, with well maintained grounds, however I've been to better.
Parking was a little expensive at £3.65.
Lots of maps and signposts to give you directions
Dogs accepted on a lead.
