I travel a lot on my own but this is one Hotel I would never go back to alone. The rooms are the other side of the car park from reception, and so at night its quite freaky to walk over there. Especially if your room is on the far side of the block of rooms, as you have to walk through an alleyway an past a little wooded area. Not nice for a woman on her own in the dark.

Room was OK, seemed clean. Bathroom was a little dingy with ciggy burns on the sink. Felt very isolated and a little scared so bolted door!

On walk back through to car park in the morning, it was a delight to see rat traps in the alleyway that I had walked through the previous night! Didnt see any rats, and probably because of where they are situated they are never likely to NOT ever have rats somewhere outside. Wooded areas nearby etc.

Not too bad a hotel, not great. Not one for a woman on her own!

I stayed here as a lone female and did not feel safe at all.

All already explained, the reception is away from the hotel, and the outside stairs leading to different levels were dark and seedy.

The curtains were ripped and the heater was a portable one, which meant as it was plugged into the only socket in the room, I had to freeze while I charged my mobile phone up. The TV picture was terrible and the carpets were very worn and shabby.

The bed was an ok size. The bathroon was basic but liveable for one night. The walls are paper thin so I could hear neighbours TV's. Also a bright light above the window which the curtain did not block out, leaving the room not entirely dark.

I just didn't feel safe there at all.

Breakfast was terrible.

The whole place is just depressing.

Would not recommend this "motel" for females at all.

Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

For cheap stays i have stopped in mainly travel lodges, however as there is not one at the moment my husband found the ibis.

It reminded me of a butlins chalet in the 1960's. I think there was a maximum of 7 rooms let, judging by the cars there. We had snow while we were there so we could see how many cars had left.

Breakfast was cheap and nasty. The food looked as if it had been there overnight

The carpet also looked as though it had been laid in the 60's. I am glad i was only there for one night. The heating was one portable convector heater.

I dont think i would recommend this hotel to my worse enemy

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was a basic ibis room without the bathroom pod but with a normal bathroom . I found this room comfy, warm and clean, yes it was a shock when we arrived as the rooms are seperate from the reception, more like a motel setup, but the room was fine and good value for the very reasonable price.
Breakfast was the same as we have had in all the other Ibis's, toast, muffins,cereals, cold meats etc. We stayed for two nights and would be happy to return, yes its not a five star but good value for money.
