“Good quality modern Premier inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

Excellent modernised premier inn. Wasn't expecting to stay in Cov and booked this place last minute, arrived at hotel about 15mins after booking online. Room was ready and everything fine. Nice family room. My only criticism would be the size of the TV, many PI now have 32 inch TVs whereas these are only about 20 inch.

Excellent location for visiting Coventry Cathedral, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kenilworth etc. Good clean rooms, no noise from roads. On-site breakfast room meaing no trudging to restaurant next door, although being a Harvester this is well-recommended for dinner after a hard days sightseeing.

We booked this 1-night stay on a whim! Excellent location for visiting Kenilworth, Leamington Spa and Warwick. Spotlessly clean, quiet and really liked the shower-only bathroom with the door that can close off the toilet so the rest of the family can use the bathroom. Prefer this 'made to order' cooked breakfast rather than buffet and loved the internal 'breakfast room' (not part of the restaurant next door) run by Premier Inn staff but wonder if it might be a bit small if the hotel is full. Also like the new choice of pillows in the room. My only complaint was this room was not big enough for a family of 4 (although this could be because we booked online that morning) meaning no gaps to walk between the beds and the pull-out bed (mattress on the floor) was very uncomfortable for my 11-year old son. We have had much better family rooms at other Premier Inns.

We stayed as a group of 4 adults and 2 under 5's for 3 nights over the jubilee weekend occupying 1 double and 1 family room both of which were very clean, modern and comfortable. We opted for breakfast each morning which we found to be of a good standard.
As previously stated by other reviews the entrance is not well signed and we found the attached Harvester to be a bit 'rough around the edges' but what stood out for us was the PI staff all of whom were pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful and patient (remember the 2 under 5's)

We stayed as part of a group attending a wedding close by. The hotel itself met our needs well - the room was very clean as was the hotel restaurant. Really good value for a two night stay. Particular recommendations go to the staff who were extremely friendly - nice to see these days! Couple of downsides - the hotel is a bit tricky to find from the main road (Look for the petrol station / M&S as it's opposite there) and, as it's next to a Harvester pub, it did get a bit noisy in the early hours - but all in all, if all you need is a quick stopover then this does the trick

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing away from the pub
