“All Ok but nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

Eat there late night. All the food was fine, the service was effective and the food was OK. The curries were a bit on the mild side, but the sides, breads etc. were all good. The décor and lighting is a little old fashioned perhaps. I wouldn't rush back but I would go again

“Good indian food”

Used it for work meetings, also taken my wife there when we have been shopping. Always excellent food and and service. Don't understand some of these reviews. Its an Indian restaurant not fine dining!

“Good value for the City Centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

Bog standard Indian but I've given it 4 rather than 3 stars on account of the fact that it has a fairly priced a la carte menu in the City Centre, in contrast to the poncy, overpriced chain-owned establishments nearby. The food is good quality, nothing outstanding, but does the job, without leaving a hole in your wallet. Poppadoms, mains, naans, rice, beer, tip = £20 each. Don't know why it's marked as £££ on TripAdvisor.

“Friendly service and good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

I went with two work colleagues as a wind-down after a busy day. We found Barajee to be all you would want from a curry house - good, fresh food, some interesting choices and helpful staff who don't intimidate and who know the menu well ... what more do you need? The wine list is ok too, and the generous pot of tea at the end was most welcome (strictly inauthentic, I know, but I'm from Yorkshire, and it had been a long day). I will definitely return with Mr F for a dinner for two.
