Service was very good with food and drinks brought over to the table quickly. The food however had some issues. Portion sizes are on the small size. The prawns and chicken in my linguine dish were very chewy, nowhere near acceptable standard for a restaurant, it's not rocket science to get them right, in fact its harder to get them wrong.
The salmon goujons were ok, the breadcrumb coating was a bit soft for me. The crab ravioli was tasteless, no crab taste at all, which is quite strange as crab has quite a strong flavour.
The cheese cake and the tiramisu were standard off the shelve affairs, not bad, just not that good.
The service charge was added to the bill, which is a poor show from where I stand, they may as well add the 10% to the food prices and have done with it.
Menu was extensive which I would guess is part of the problem on busy nights, perhaps they should keep it simple but get the dishes they serve spot on, rather than a vaste choice of average food.
The toilets were also very messy, for a restaurant, paper hand towels is a nice touch but they can end up on the floor, which isn't a good look .
I would not go back on a busy night, maybe at a quieter time as the atmosphere is nice and the interior is welcoming, love the big windows.
