“Good location, Usual Premier Inn high standard”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2011

The accomodation is as you expect from a Premier Inn - clean & of a high standard. Comfy beds. Had a family room for couple & 14 yo. The child bed was a roll out rather than a "top of sofa", comfy and fine.
We were in the ground floor room right next to the entrance (which worried me a bit) but we didn't have any issues with late night returners.
The room was hot but a fan was supplied (hot day).
My only critisism is the lack of plug sockets. Only one (plus one for the TV) Not good with today's techonology. Note: we did not ask reception if they had 4 way sockets we could use.

The reception staff were excellent. Friendly with out being over bearing. 5* to them. The lady that booked us in had only been working there for 3 days but did a grand job.

Breakfast - well cooked, perfectly served.

Also, well done to Premier Inn. This was not the Premier Inn that we booked into. As we were travelling up, we had a call to say the one we were booked into had a kithcen fire and whilst they could accomodate us there would be no food on site. Breakfast was important to us as the reason for the trip was our daughter racing in the Midland's champs. We were moved to Brindly Place and the additional cost covered by Premier Inn Birmingham East.

The staff at this hotel are extremely pleasant & helpful. The hotel is in a good location and only a short walk into City Centre. Ample free parking (you get a windscreen pass) & the hotel is very clean. Comfy beds & You will go a long way to do any better for a hotel at sub £50!

Disabled room was fantastic, where they have taken a few rooms to make breakfast area, they have now got Fire Exit's in Disabled Rooms down stairs.we loved it felt much safer. Also had camera in ceiling outside first room towards reception.Felt as though all our belongings were safe, well done premier inn, Brindley place. Just down the road abit you are right on the canel Watery Edge i think it's called. Plenty of eatery places we discovered them in the morning just before we left.So this will make us go back.I think the staff should have said about this as knowing that no evening meals were available on site.a fantastic atmosphere i would think at night also had sercurity personel on the prowl made my partner fell very safe as she is disabled.

Room Tip: book early.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel in the same number of years. I have to say that this year has been the best. I always found the hotel comfortable and clean. However, this year, they seemed to have stepped it up a notch. The check in was very quick and efficient. We were a largeish group. While getting our room keys we began discussing what time to meet and where we might want to go to eat. The front desk heard the discussion and asked if they could make reservations for us. We immediately agreed to this as the past two years had been terrible with getting a table and we had to wait until late. So, we left it to their capable hands. We told them where we wanted to eat and upon going out for the evening, they confirmed our reservation. Also, they asked if we need any irons and those were brought up to us quickly. The room itself was very tidy and clean with the basics in place. I always thing one Premier Inn room is like any other Premier Inn. I am not bothered by that as I know what to expect on business trips. I always find their beds very large with lots of pillows available and a fan because it was a warm evening. In the morning, the breakfast was very good and we were served quickly as we had a meeting to get to. Check out was only seconds and away we went. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My sister and I stayed 2 nights and whilst she uses Premier on a regular basis this is the first time I have. From arrival the staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was nicely laid out, spacious and the bathroom was very adequate. The bed was very comfortable and I had 2 good nights sleep! The next mornings we were pleasantly greeted at the breakfast room and were provided with a large selection of breakfast foods. The location is perfect to get to the city centre and Bull Ring by foot approximately 8 mins walk.

I would recommend Premier Inn anytime for a value for money, convenient, friendly and relaxing accommodation. It ticked all the boxes for mid-range. Thank you!!
