“Great day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Our second visit to the think tank and it was just as good as our first. The science garden is excellent, the fire show was very informative as well as highly entertaining. My two children and their two friends (10,8,8 and 7) had a wonderful time here and we would all recommend.

“Great day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We visited Monday 26th August. There were so many interesting features. The parking was a very good price for Birmingham City Centre compared to the other multi-storey car parks in the area. I think we paid around £4 for just over four hours there. There is plenty to look at and something for everyone, as said just we spent over four hours there. There is a cafe there if you would like lunch which was around £10 for the three of us, however there are benches for people to sit on and take their own lunch. The science garden is fab and great fun.

“Brilliant fun, 6 & 7 year old kids occupied and engaged for 5 hours!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

We visited Birmingham for the first time on the way home from the Peak District and had a great time - the detour was well worth it. We stayed in Broad Streat area and cycled along the canal paths to the Thinktank. Some of the areas were a little rough around the edges, but overall the cycle was fantastic and it was interesting to see how much investment and regeneration is going on in the city. On arrival at the thinktank the kids enjoyed their time in the outside science gardens before heading inside. The exhibitions are the most interactive I've seen and really cater for adults and kids alike. We spent over 5 hours at the thinktank and our 6 & 7 year old girls loved every minute. It was great to see them so interested in how things work. This is a really great asset for Birmingham and is well worth the visit.
