My friend and i have been here twice, both times on a saturday night without pre-booking. Both times we were warmly welcomed and offered a table even though it was really busy. Once we sat downstairs, the other time, upstairs. It is a very elegant looking restaurant, with deep plush carpets and lovely decor. It is not licenced so we took our own alcholic drinks, which the waiter did not hesitate to open and pour for us, although they provide a large choice of soft drinks and coffees etc. The food was beautiful, we had popadoms and dips first then samosas and tikka to start, utterly devine. Then we were given a refreshing sorbet in a champagne glass for free to cleanse the palet. That was a lovely touch as i have never had that in an indian restaurant before. Then for mains i had a king prawn curry dish and my friend had a pathia, both were delicious, both accompanied by garlic rice and keema naan. We were to full for deserts but i cannot wait to go here again. One of the best curry houses i have ever eaten in and anyone i know says the same thing. Please try it x
