“Value & Convenience”

Now I have started using a little Travelodge just off Mucklow Hill, Halesowen. What a little beauty. Free parking, ALDI next door, KFC underneath if you need a snack, working or just arrived late. There is also a little off licence for a snifter when watching a bit of telly or reading. Up the road (10 minutes walk - if that; is a Wetherspoon's; the William Shenstone which has not let me down. Quick and efficient with value for money. The Wetherspoon formula, but one of the better ones I have tried. This particular Travelodge appears to be new and I have use it three times now and have to say the staff have been very pleasant and helpful as I find my way round.

Room Tip: Just a ten minute walk up the road to the Halesowen High Street, which is a pedestrian area. Usual b...

Arrived quite late - after midnight, Receptionist buzzed me in and took lift to 1st Foor.
Quick check in and the lady was very pleasant.
Two lifts and they worked fine with no real wait.

Room was ok and everything worked. Ensuite was ok, shower was a nice size.

A Greggs on the ground floor, had my breakfast there. A KFC was also part of the building. A MacDonalds is also quite close.

Not quit sure about the rules on parking. There are some signs up about the hours you can stay etc, so may be worth checking.

Stayed here for my brother in law's wedding as it was within a stones throw from the venue. Nice and easy to find, helpfull staff and lovely clean rooms. The bed was also very comfy as i am very particular about my bed! All in all a nice place and pretty cheap too.

We checked in here in the early evening, and we got a bit confused with the parking and ended up driving out of the car park and taking a tour of the town centre to drive in again. Check in was quick and painless and reception staff were pleasant and helpful.
The rooms on this hotel are smaller than other travelodges I have stayed in, but on this occassion I had booked a double rather than a family room. The bathroom was small, but the shower was powerful and hot. The linen and towels were spotless, but we had to request extra towels. these were provided very quickly, so full marks for customer service.
Our room was 301 which was adjacent to the lift and a fire door which made it a little noisy, but I guess other rooms would not have this inconvenience.
I would advise guests not to bother with the breakfast boxes as there is a Greggs and KFC in the same building.
In spite of the issues we encountered I would happily dtay here again.

Stayed here a lot over the last six months or so and its always been a very clean and friendly place to stay, the staff are great especially young Tamica who always gives a warm and friendly welcome. Parking can be tight but theres usually some room given that theres a kfc and greggs on site, and there are two main roads either side of the hotel which can be noisy at times, but at night its relatively quiet. Handy for Halesowen town centre. Nice place to stay!!!!!

Stayed in this hotel for a family wedding in November last year we had 8 rooms in total. Received a parking ticket even though I put in my reg as stated at reception. I have never experienced such poor customer service and waiting times in my life. The parking ticket is of some annoyance, but dealing with travelodge customer service is an absolulte joke. The parking ticket should of been sorted in November, it took days of frustration to be told it had been taken care of back then and on the 24th March i received a letter informing me of court action over a parking ticket you should of canceled last November. It is now the 9th April and im still waiting for confirmation on this to be sorted. I hope  the car parking company haven't taken this matter to the court and marking my credit score due to your appalling service. I have never known any company to have 30 40 minute wait times to try and get through to someone and wait days for replies via emails. I'll be copying this and posting this to social media and tripadvisor. I shouldn't have to chase and try for weeks on end to solve this issue whilst staying in your hotel writing email after email and waiting 30 mins plus being charged to try and speak to someone it's totally unacceptable

Stayed as wanted stop off on way to meeting in Halesowen next day. Found it fine. You know what you'll get with Travelodge and had standard room with ensuite shower room. Quite recent design. Main problem was timber framed with paper thin walls and got woken up by neighbours and loud kids getting back at 3am. Whilst that happens - fact that it's so basically structurally built is an issue as noise does travel.

Ground floor has KFC and Local officence/store. If had known would have walked for 3 or 4 minutes into Halesowen centre where could have found Wetherspoons and eaten there.
