I recently visited the spa, off a moneysupermarket deal, a regular visitor to spa's so i do have high expectations for a place of relaxtion, despite the cube spa modern facilites, it does lack any personality, ( abit like the location of the cube and mailbox, cold and a bit empty) The service in the lounge was slow and unfriendly, we had 30 mins to grab some lunch before treatments, but waited at the bar just ignored while the two bar staff messed about with the coffee machine and refiled mayonnaise in bowls. Then eventually we got served it was too late for lunch, The lounge area was cold, it could do with some fleeces to feel more cosy, the pod area for post treatment relax, was innovative but didnt work, 4 hanging pods not enough to house the clients that need to sit down, the spa , the pool and steam room areas are nice, but again small, if its busy you'll be lucky to get a space. only 4 hairdryers for the whole place again not enough, my summary would be the treatments are amazing, the spa is nice, but don't go if you are expecting a serious relax day and space, its too open to feel relaxed,.. nice try the cube.
