“I could not fault one thing about our stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

I contacted the hotel a week before our trip to request an early check in, we were due to arrive very early, at 8am so I was told they would do their best. We arrived and a room was ready for us,we were delighted. Breakfast was included in our room rate but our flight was early on the Sunday morn which meant we would miss the breakfast. The hotel allowed us to have the breakfast we'd miss the day of our arrival, very accommodating. All staff were helpful and very nice. The room was lovely, two big beds and very clean. The residents bar was cozy and very busy on the Friday night. The breakfasts were tasty. We were just so impressed and would return every time we visit Birmingham.

Great value hotel - £59 for room with two double beds which three adults shared, including breakfast. Hotel room immaculate and well stocked with products in bathroom. Asked housekeeping for extra towels and arrived promptly in 5 mins. Reception staff friendly and efficient so too at breakfast. Good range of breakfast items on offer.

Very well positioned for our conference at ICC - less than 5 mins walk away, and also 5 mins walk to great bars and food places. Great feel to that area of Broad Street.
Would totally recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We chose top floor - 16 was great view and very quiet

The hotel is on Broad street which gives you access to lots of restaurants, bars, nightclubs etc. on your doorstep. The symphony hall and the shopping center are about 10 minutes walk away and the Birmingham new street station is a good 15-20 minutes brisk walk away. The rooms are a a very good size and are comfortable with all mod cons shower/bathroom of good-size. The room was clean and provide coffee/tea facilties. They have a restaurant and bar of ample size. We got for a good deal on lastminute.com fro 58 pounds... which is a good rate my only issue most hotels have free WIFI so they should try and adapt to that policy as the price is outrageous!!!

Jurys Inn was conveniently located - a short walk to Symphony Hall and the main shopping areas.
Staff were helpful and to our surprise full buffet breakfast was included(which I didn't realise when I booked). Price was very reasonable and the room spacious with a comfortable bed and ample sized bathroom. We specifically asked for a quiet room - ones near the lift would be noisy. Taxi rank just outside the hotel. Unfortunately no free wi-fi but there is a pub 2 doors down which has free wi-fi so we went there for coffee! Tip - go to the tourist info stand in the main shopping area because the hotel didn't have much info (granted it was not holiday season). The 1 hour trip down the canal from Sherborne Wharf was really interesting. No laundromats at all, but we hand washed our smalls and they dried overnight.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room. We had 1220 which was fine.
