“great views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

there are two hills to explore, if you are approaching from the rednal area follow the road until it starts accending, on the right hand side there is a golf club and parking area, where you can explore pond and the small cascading waterfalls. stay on this path and it will lead to the top of one of the hills, giving great views of birmingham and the malvern hills, also great for sledging when it snows. on the other side of the road to the golf club entrance up the hill a bit, there is a country park with a play area and a nice cafe with facilities. this is a lovely part of birmingham and should be visited. i've been going since my early childhood, and i now take my grandkids there.

Local Beauty spot on the South Side of Birmingham, ideal to spend the day, weather permitting, outstanding views and excellent golf at the 'Rose Hill' municipal golf course, a more challenging and better kept than most ....

“Beautiful Brum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

A delightful unchanged spot on the southern edge of the city, steep wooded hills with views over the Worcester countryside to Malvern, with its own dark-blue hills, north to the city centre across the leafy southern suburbs, and west to Frankley Beeches. Perhaps the best place to appreciate the green and gorgeous topography of a proud city, in England's authentic heartland.

“Beautiful Hills near Birmingham”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Great for families. Cafe to buy a limited selection of food (more greasy cafe than coffee shop); swings etc for the kids; lots of beautiful views of Birmingham; extensive walks through woodland. Well worth a visit if you're in Brum.

“Great Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

There is a fantastic playing area for children, lots of equipment for them to play on. This place is perfect for a walk but make sure you bring wellies as it was so muddy when i went. This place can get really busy during peak times so be careful on choosing a day to go. There is also a small cafeteria at the top for you to purchase food&drink. Overall, this place is excellent for children and brilliant for a walk.
