I came here with my mother for a celebratory meal early April, the day before they changed the menu. A few things were unavailable because of this, but that wasn't a problem.
We started off ordering the pumpkin nachos and some bread, with two non-alcoholic cocktails. The nachos came within 5 minutes, and once we polished that off, the bread followed. Drinks were a while coming, and we had to ask servers twice where they were. They finally arrived after we had finished the starters. (I should mention it wasn't even very busy...)
Mains were incredible. My mum had Jools favourite tuna pasta, which came with a spoon of crispy crumb on the side to put on as you please. It was full of flavour, the tuna was succulent, and the portion size was perfect. I had the salmon with roasted veg, and it was to die for. The salad was peppery and crisp, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the cheese sauce was such a refreshing accompaniment.
Desert was the raspberry brownie, which again, was beautiful. It wasn't sickly, and the raspberries truly worked.
Fantastic restaurant, just perhaps the service could pick up a tad to match the food.
