“Wonderful and free!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

This is a gem of a gallery. There was a Thomas Fearnley exhibition on when we visited which was a real treat - not an artist we had heard of, but he died aged 39 so probably didn't have a chance to become famous. The other 3 galleries have many wonderful paintings. Definitely worth a visit while you are in Birmingham - on the university campus.

“Free and all the classics”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Some times they have free concerts and all the classics are there, shame there are not some restaurants near by. All canteens and Selly Oak high street.

“small but fine collection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This gallery is on the university campus, and is some way from the city centre, take a train to the 'university' stop and it's 10-15 minutes walk from there. (there is a bus option that takes you nearer) Good quality work on display, mostly Victorian. No cafe but hot drinks and snacks can be purchased and eaten there.
