“Quite simply a "little Gem"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

we stayed for two nights, with friends, on our first visit to Warwick at this lovely little hotel and were not disappointed. As soon as we walked in the hotel had a lovely atmosphere and was clean and fresh. We were a little early to be shown our rooms but Louise offered to make us tea or coffee or we could have drinks from the very small bar. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable, our friends room was a little on the small side but we were told that they were aware of this and are hoping to address the situation asap. (I feel confident that they will too) There is not a proper restaurant as such but Louise did have a small menu of dishes that she makes herself, we tried them out for Lunch on our first day and can recommend the Beef stew and dumplings and the Lasagne they were delicious. The following day was my husbnd's birthday and he was given the choice of where he wanted to eat in the evening, he didn't surprise us at all when he said if it was ok with Louise he would like to eat at the hotel. Once again Louise was extemely obliging and asked if there was anything special that we would like, and Martin, the breakfast chef, ( his breakfasts were excellent) even offered to come and cook for us in the evening if we wanted. I can't emphasise enough that all of the staff team, and not forgetting little Diana, were helpful, friendly and obliging, An excellent hotel, good value for money and within walking distance for the centre of Warwick, we will return.

We stayed for one night, away to celebrate my husbands birthday. Found the Hotel on trip advisor and we we weren't disappointed. Fantastic room, well appointed, clean with a big king sized bed. The bathroom was fine with towels on a warm towel rail. We had booked the last room so had a family room to ourselves. The manager/owner? was very helpful as were all the other staff we encountered. Breakfast the following day was great, again staff helpful and obliging, would definitely make a return visit.

unimposing and noisy location, but very clean and straightforward and functional rooms; everything works and for the price that's very good; I would return and definitely preferable to the dreadful Premier Inn!!

Louise and her team provide the sort of service that should be the model for all hotels. he Castle Limes has lovely rooms all well decorated, extremely clean with comfortable beds and excellent en suite facilities.
OK there is some road noise but that is a small price to pay. The breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. The latest recruits to Louises's team are Martin the Chef and Deborah on reception both are right out of the mold in providing excellent service with a smile.
Great hotel, excellent outstanding poeple and very good value for money.
I am convinced that Louise and her team could take on any establishment and make it successful.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the courtyard car park and may be quieter if you are a light sleeper.

Chosen because of review on here and lived up to our expectations. We arrived early but was able to book straight in. Room was spacious and extremely clean, lovely bathroom with bath and shower. Ideally located for Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon which were the reasons for our visit. Breakfast was very good and the waitress very helpful always asking whether we needed anything else. The only downside is the lack of parking space but there is nothing the hotel can do to improve this as far as I can see. We didn't like the idea of parking opposite near the late night shops. Having said this really loved this hotel and would definitely stay again.

This hotel is great if you're looking for a hotel within walking distance to the center of town and the castle. It's clean, upgraded and the service is good. That being said, if you're looking for a special bed & breakfast feel, there are many other options in the area that may suit you better. Breakfast was uninspired and just so-so. Parking is limited but they are willing to move cars around and the lot across the street is free during evening hours.

Room Tip: Street view rooms are quite loud. Didn't bother me, but may if you are a light sleeper.
