We recently visited Stratford Upon Avon , and while just mooching ....we were attracted to the antique centre , and within the antique centre we found a fantastic little coffee shop. Initially we were just going to have a coffee and cake . But when we saw the sandwiches and salads that were being freshly prepared .....we thought why not. My husband had the sardines on brioche, which also included salad , that contained both orange and apple plus the normal type salad. Initially , my husband was not too keen on the fruit .....but actually found his meal delightful.
I had a corn beef and tomato sandwich ....which also included a salad . Both our meals were freshly prepared, extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Which along with some excellent coffee made for a lovely lunch in quite , music free surroundings. By chance we felt we had stumbled on a ' hidden gem ' . We can't wait for our next visit.
