Went on Saturday to see Romeo and Juliet, one of a number of plays being shown here thoroughout this year. Have to say that even though I was in the back seat of the stalls, I had a good view, as the seating banks towards the rear. Fantasitc production, but definitely different! 3.15 hours long in total, the play is uncut.
However, I must let other people know that if the weather continues to be warm this summer, then the heat within the theatre itself is unbearable. There is no airconditioning, so take some liquid refreshment and a fan (even if it is a programme), to keep you cool.
Conveniently located by the river, and signposted from everywhere!
