“Second to the right and straight on until morning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

What can I say?!
This production of Peter Pan was one of the best I have seen in a long time. The cast and crew were incredible, as was the set and direction of this new take on a Classic children's story, making it relevant to a modern audience and still staying true to the original JM Barrie story.
I don't want to give anything away, but would highly recommend this to any fan of the theatre, or of Peter Pan or of Feminism! Do not expect a pretty little fairy - Tink is definitely a force to be reckoned with!!
And it's great to have the heroine rescue the hero and still find the time to get tipsy and hang out with the girls too!
The theatre itself was incredibly easy to find, the tickets were good value, the staff were good with helping us find our seats, and the little fairy exhibition around the theatre was lovely.
I also appreciate how the theatre organisers on a quieter weekday evening moved everyone seated on the higher level to better seats which made for a much closer atmosphere and a better all round experience for all of the audience!
I have already started looking at the 2014 programme - I think I will be having a busy year!!

“No response for complaint about staff rudeness”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

We attended a preview for Bring Up The Bodies. Throughout the show the gentleman in front of us was shuffling and gesticulating. He spent the entire second act on his mobile phone. When we and another, unassociated, couple complained afterwards, it transpired that he was the director. We were all hustled out, and the director was apologised to for our having approached him!
Despite sending a letter the following day, and a follow up email 3 weeks later, we have yet to receive a reply, other than an automated email response including the sentence "All complaints will be listened to and taken seriously." Apparently not if they are critical of the staff.
We were regular attendees to the theatre, but will not be returning again.

A fantastic production with a strong message that girls are evry bit as good at boys! Flying children, canon shots and great pirates alongside scary crocodile and a different view on the Smee / Hook relationship made for a superb afternoon

The performance, the surroundings, everything was phenomenal.
Others who made prior visits echoed our reaction, saying that the entire performance was the best they had ever seen.

Wendy and Peter Pan, excellent show, good roomy seats (front row circle), good bars, efficient staff and prices were not too bad.
