A super medieval church opposite the site site of Shakespeare's last house. Good stained glass and remains of wall paintings. Free admission.

“Lots of history here...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012

This may not be #1 on your list of things to do in Stratford, but this chapel is loaded with history. Check out the medieval paintings that were covered up during the Reformation...

“Stunning - Not to Be Missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Absolutely stunning Chapel. Free to visit and easily accessible. Amazingly calm and tranquil among the bustle of Stratford. Don't miss it. We were also exceptionally fortunate to be able to undertake the tour of Shakespeare's School (Now King Edward VI Grammar School) which was open for one of its rare public viewing days. If you get the opportunity to visit the school (in the old GuildHall) don't miss it!
