This is such a charming place to visit. My kids 5, 10, 17 all enjoyed going through the house and the garden- despite the cold wet weather. The tour guide was excellent made the history even more interesting than expected. You have to climb narrow stairs to the second story in the house so it is fun for kids. History behind many of our "sayings" and how they lived daily life. The area seems to get flooded or prehaps it was the unusual rain levels they had received in the UK this year, but parking lot and walk to the house had some crossings that needed caution to prevent getting drenched! Lovely town wish we had allowed more than a day to visit- will have to come back! People very friendly

Thank you for visiting Anne Hathaway's Cottage and taking the time to write a review of your trip. It is fantastic to hear that your children enjoyed the visit and you had a good time. I hope you manage to return and spend longer exploring Stratford-upon-Avon and the Shakespeare Houses & Gardens.
