“Absolutely wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2011

We only stayed for one night but had a great stay. Bill welcomed us with tea and cake and provided us with a map of the town centre, giving us directions on the best way to walk into town along with the best sights to see on the way, best places to find pubs, restaurants etc He really couldn't have been ore helpful.
The B&B itself was wonderful. Clean spacious room and the attention to detail is amazing even down to cotton wool, tissues etc in the bathroom.
Highly recomend Moss Cottage and will definitely stay there again.

Thank you so much for such kind words, I hate the thought of guests not knowing anything about the town or where things are. There is so much to see in Stratford-upon-Avon but its easy to see it all if you know where to look. Many thanks again.

Great stay. Bill was very friendly, without being intrusive -welcomed us with tea and cakes made by him, and gave us lots of useful information and interesting stories. The rooms are simple, but very clean; and you feel as if they have been prepared with lots of care (tea, coffee, AND hot chocolate making facilities).
Breakfast was all around one table (this is a small B and B) - very extensive menu with several options, including traditional fully cooked. The bread and the yogurt were made at the cottage.

In a quiet spot, set back from the road, a short walk from the town centre. Owned and run by Bill....a friendly and helpful guy.
I stayed for just 2 nights, wished it could have been longer. Exceptionally clean rooms, crisp bed linen, plenty of hot water. Perfect attention to detail. There are no corners cut at Moss Cottage. Delicious breakfasts with good choice of menu....one must sample the home-made breakfast trifle!
A very pleasant experience.....I hope to return one day.

Room Tip: All the rooms and bathrooms are a good size. An added bonus is the off road parking.....hard to find...

My stay was so warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for Bill (the owner). He was able to tell us,of the best places to eat in town and what was of local interest, with only a 3 day stay, his info was very helpful. :O))

This is one place i will visit again, when i come back for the horse racing, the course is only a 10 min walk away. :O))

We really enjoyed staying in the Moss Cottage! This was our best experience throughout our English trip - we felt there even better than back home :-), our room was very cosy and offering very nice amenities (even the socket adaptor and cotton pads), the breakfast was absolutely great, and the owner, Bill, was really caring.
