Hubby and I went for a pre-theatre meal Friday 22/10/13. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.
We shared the wild boar starter with the creamed parmesan and crisp Sardinian style?) bread/cracker. Really delicious but not so filling as to spoil or main courses.
Hubby had ‘Rigatoni salsiccia’ ie Tuscan fennel sausage, cream, egg, parmesan & radicchio which he really enjoyed.
I had ‘Garganelli con pollo affumicato’ ie Smoked chicken, garlic, cream & oven dried tomato – so full of flavour but I wish I’d ordered a half portion as I just couldn’t do it justice in the time we had.
Hubby tried a Sardinian lager suggested by the waiter which he really enjoyed and we shared a bottle of sauv blanc which we just about managed to finish by the time we left for the theatre.
Top notch experience as usual. Don’t go if you’re expecting Pizza Express – that it ain’t.
