At first we thought we were in a Weatherspoons, both decor and menu are very similar, we called in as menu outside was reasonably priced compared to the neighboring eateries. As far as the food is concerned we could not fault it, my wife had the gamon steak, and l went for the mixed grill both cooked to perfection. Our only criticism is this place when not full of revellers or sports fans looks a bit shabby considering the area it is in. It is full of large tv's and speakers of all sizes that are dotted all over the place. The furnishings are frayed and stained and could do with some refurbishment, which is a shame as it is good to see these old pubs still surviving when tastefully done. If you want good food at a reasonable price and your not bothered about the surroundings, on the Quaside this will suffice.
