Instantly put off by the sign on the door 'howay in'.
Had supper last night here with large party of mums from school. Meals were pre-ordered, but we still had to wait one hour to get our starters. I had tempura prawns, they were delicious could of done with more than two though. I had Thai Curry for main, I had expected the chicken to be cut into bite size pieces, it came as a whole breast - not easy to cut in a bowl, it was also lukewarm (not convinced it was cooked), in the end I only ate the sauce and rice.
Toilets, or as the awful sign says 'the netty' were grim. Only a few pieces of toilet paper left and the same for hand towels, a grotty bin under the sink for rubbish and an equally grotty sink. The main restaurant, seating area is very pleasant but the toilets let the place down as does the area before the toilets, it just looked a bit of a mess.
There is a window that I guess looks onto the kitchen - please clean the glass it looks awful!
Nice atmosphere, food nothing special, waitresses great, wouldn't return.
