“Cheap and not so cheerful.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

Food and drinks were reasonably priced. A good selection of dishes on the buffet but food not of best quality.
We were asked to pay for our meal upfront, and upon watching the seating of new customers, this did not appear to be the restaurants' policy for everyone. We ordered more drinks, and the waitress interrupted our meal to demand immediate payment for them.

Any atmosphere in the place struggles to compete with the Chinese music and video screens that are blasted at customers.

I would not go back to this restaurant unless none of the others on Stowel Street are shut.

“Cheap and Cheerful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Visited this buffet restaurant with a group of 8 men before going to the darts at the arena. The food was very nice with plenty of choice on the afternoon we visited at approx 5pm.The cost was about £6 per head and is no different to Laus just a bit bigger and nicer service. All of us enjoyed the food and the beer deals of buy one get one free on bottles of carling zest.I would return as would the rest of the group.Typical tables and chairs from ikea!

“Always busy with locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

We always visit here when in the town depending on times the price will vary, no frills but decent food offered and fills you up, cost aound £20-25 with drinks for two well worth it.
