“italian restaurant managed by italians”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

This is a little but very nice restaurant managed by real italian people. The restaurant is lkocated in heaton, not far from chillingham road. I have been here many times and i have never been disappointed. The food is good, the service is excellent. the best dish is probably the pizza, which is thin, crispy, and very tasty.
In my opinion it is one of the best and healthiest option in Heaton.

“Nice out of town Italian”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Visited on a Living Social deal. Staff were very good and there was a really good choice of starters and mains. We had garlic mushrooms on crostini and calamari in tomato and chilli to start which were both excellent. Then it was chicken and garlic pizza and an olive oil, pine nut and chilli based pasta which were also very good. Had dessert which was a little small and the brownie was a bit more like sticky toffee pudding (which was also on the menu). Great pint of Grolsch!

Located in Heaton so not a night in the city type venue but very nice inside, nice atmosphere and would probably return. They were also incredibly kind to a young lad who came in giving him a few chips as a one off without charge for him to take away.

“Pizza to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Vincenzos is one of those lovely old fashioned Italian restaurants, not trendy but pizza to die for. Third visit, this time we both had bruschetta and vegetarian pizza. Bruschetta was good, but the pizza was outstanding.Thin crust, cooked to perfection with generous and tasty topping. Nice and hot and served with a friendly smile. The Italian owner greets us like long lost friends, which adds to the experience. Very reasonably priced, easy parking, close to Chillingham Road for bus or metro - you can't go wrong.

“living social deal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

Not cafe21 or blackfriars, but i wish this family run resturant was at the end of my street. We (myself and my beloved) Went on a internet deal and had a great authentic italian experience Father of the family fussed, as they do (but also managed to sell us a bottle of italian red off the wine list)(he's good) Starter and pizza/pasta ace, great pizza base anyone can do toppings but the skill is in the base dough! great night out on a budget
