When considering where to celebrate New Years Eve, we eventually decided on seeing in 2014 on the quayside with the fireworks display.
we rung the Waterline, to see if we were able to book a table, surprisingly we were able to.
we arrived at 21:30 and all of the tables were already occupied with the exception of 2 that were reserved, one of these was ours.
Initially we just planned on having some drinks, but when we saw the food being served we decided t have a Tex Mex platter. Priced at a little over £16.00 it is advertised as being big enough for 3 and it certainly was. Chicken wings, onion rings, nachos beef chilli and quesadilla all wee delicious (the wings were a little cold but still enjoyable).
The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, table service was offered to us and we had a very enjoyable night.
just before midnight everyone went outside to see the fireworks. The location was superb, right in the middle of the action.
I used to visit the waterline years ago, when it was the place to go on the quayside. now that the quayside isn't as busy its not as popular. reviewing the menu combined with the service we received we will certainly be returning soon.
