“Perfect venue for New Years Eve”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

When considering where to celebrate New Years Eve, we eventually decided on seeing in 2014 on the quayside with the fireworks display.

we rung the Waterline, to see if we were able to book a table, surprisingly we were able to.
we arrived at 21:30 and all of the tables were already occupied with the exception of 2 that were reserved, one of these was ours.

Initially we just planned on having some drinks, but when we saw the food being served we decided t have a Tex Mex platter. Priced at a little over £16.00 it is advertised as being big enough for 3 and it certainly was. Chicken wings, onion rings, nachos beef chilli and quesadilla all wee delicious (the wings were a little cold but still enjoyable).

The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, table service was offered to us and we had a very enjoyable night.

just before midnight everyone went outside to see the fireworks. The location was superb, right in the middle of the action.

I used to visit the waterline years ago, when it was the place to go on the quayside. now that the quayside isn't as busy its not as popular. reviewing the menu combined with the service we received we will certainly be returning soon.

“Posh fish fingers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Having sampled their breakfast a few months ago we decided to return to try their main menu on recommendation of my daughter although at first I did have my doubts when there was talk of fish finger sandwichs. However when told that these weren't your commonal garden freezer fish fingers but fish goujons I changed my mind.
At the time of the our visit there was a good crowd of people in which added to the atmosphere.Such is the choice of food available it took me several minutes to choose and yes I did choose the posh fish finger sandwich which when it arrived was a culinary masterpiece.
All in all an excellant meal however one tip I would give is if you don't like football avoid on a saturday afternoon during the footie season(mean that in the nicest way)

“FANTASTIC FOOD, LOVELY ATMOSPHERE”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

I am a regular customer here, the food is fantastic.

The thin stone baked pizzas are to die for!!!
Also recommend the fish and chips the Thai beef "pot noodle" (which is far from being a pot noodle, mmm!) and the chicken wings are a perfect sharing snack nice and spicy too!-
Always has a great mixture of music, the staff are always friendly.

Perfect for a couple/group or family!

Great in the summer as has outside heated terrace but nice and cosy on winter nights too!

Highly recommended!!

“A little gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

We ate here on our way to the Sage for a show. The restaurant we went to first was fully booked and we didn't have too much time to find anywhere else. We really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere, great location, very reasonably priced and lovely food. Friendly service and a nice, crisp pint. Recommended.
