“Simply the best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

Myself & husband had visited this restaurant tonight once again it never fails we often try different restaurants in the area but no one comes anywhere near this one for food quality & value. it always exceeds my expections & I am a fussy eater. The fish starter is outstanding along with a huge variety of other dishes. The staff are very friendly & helpful I would highly recommend this restaurant as the title says simply the best better than all the rest.!!!!

“OUR GUILTY PLEASURE!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

My wife & I have had numerous meals at this place & in our view it is the BEST indian food in the Newcastle area. The surrounding are clean & serviceable however nothing flash nevertheless this does not detract from the food being absolutely outstanding. the fish starter is the best we have had in any restaurant, The Punjabi massala is also outstanding the nan breads are to die for, we have never had a average meal at this place as all of the food is phenomenal, if you like your indian food make this place one of your must visit restaurants you will not be disappointed, once you have tasted this food you will find it hard to go anywhere else.we have been coming here for quite a while now & its not a place that just get full at week-ends, we have tried all week days & the place is always busy which is testament to the food.book your table to avoid disappointment!!!

“Maybe the best??!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

Live in Newcastle & have tried loads of curry houses, this is definitely one of the best we've been to. Not pretentious, just very good Indian food with a good menu & lots of different choices we haven't come across before. Staff were great, recommending dishes & taking time to to speak to you, rather than rush you in & out like in some places! will be back again soon !!

“Birthday treats”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

There was only one place to go in my view for my birthday treat and didn't disappoint and was given a little treat of a tasty Kashmir slow cooked lamb house spacial it was like having a warm hug from a loved one, a well layered spiced stew with lamb breast cooked on the bone ready for dunking your choice of breads.
Home cooking like mum's that hugs!
thanks boys.
