Live close to here, drive past it on a regular basis, well worth a visit, good scenery, plenty bars and restaurants nearby, buses and metro 2to 3 minutes away
Great photo opportunities, excellent setting, moody; forgot membership card but was still let in for free. Not very much to see so glad I didn't have to pay!
Tynemouth is a great place to go for a drink and something to eat,also the priory is definatly worth a look.
Brilliant day out, ancient graveyard, castle ruins, priory, creepy church and the amazing war 'bunker' style ammo rooms, big guns and much more. This is a must see for any history buff or anyone wanting to educate the kids whilst they explore at will! Take a picnic and enjoy the views of the North Sea and the Tune spilling into it.
Beautiful beaches and a great place to explore, my children love it and really good fish and chips near by
