“Cracking Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

just stayed one night and we got it for £25 (when the rooms first come out) for a double. There was 4 of us off out on the drink all day in the Toon. You pay for parking till 5pm on night then we paid at reception for a further 2 hours on morning from 8am. Hotel staff are all friendly and the breakfast is bang on after a day on the lash! Typical Premier Inn, great value in a perfect location for all the bars heading downhill towards station. We visited a number of bars and Newcastle is a good City for lads, lasses or couples to enjoy. Would defo stay here again!

Great location for the city.

Friendly and welcoming reception, £35 well spent. Has a free car park which is a bonus these days for a City Centre hotel though free only until 8am.

Big comfortable rooms, decent beds and plenty of hot water for the bath. 30 mins free internet is OK but most places offer it limitless now.

Would stay again.

This was my first stay at the City Centre Premier Inn (I usually stay at the Quayside, but wanted to be nearer the centre of town this time) and I cannot fault it!

I arrived in Newcastle by train, and the hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the station. It was relatively easy to find, but I know my way around Newcastle so it could be more confusing if it's your first time.

I was staying by myself for my trip, and found the staff on reception to be very caring about this! They put me in a room which was near the lifts so I didn't have to go wandering about the corridors - very considerate! And something which Premier Inns are very good at.

I adore the beds at Premier Inn, and this one was just excellent. In general, my room was light and airy with a nice view.

The overall location of the hotel is fab - I was going to a gig at Northumbria Uni and it was a very pleasant 5 minute walk.

I love this hotel and would definitely book again if I got a good price.

Central Hotel which ticks all the boxes. Clean rooms and public areas. Polite staff. Good food. As this was originally a Holiday In. The rooms are of a decent size, no complaints with our 4 night stay. Also has a car park which is a bonus these days for a City Centre hotel.

The room itself was relatively ok, but the bathroom was quite terrible - it was not very clean, the soap container was not working and the shower was all leaky. The staff was friendly, and we were allowed to leave our luggage there even after check out. There is a 30 min free internet connection option, but the paid internet is not too expensive either. Location wise, it is a nice place since it is central.

Overall, I'd suggest those in charge of this place to take a better look at the details as these can make the difference most of the time.

Myself and friends stayed for two nights over the August Bank Holiday, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome.
The rooms lived upto the description, had everything we needed, and were immaculate!
Great location and a taxi rank right outside the door!
We would not hesitate to stay here again!!

Thank you to all the staff!!!

I stayed overnight at this Premier Inn for business. The welcome from the reception staff was great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a standard Premier Inn room equipped with all the facilities you come to expect from Premier Inn. The location was fine as it was a short walk to the offices I was working in. It is a short walk from the train station and a short walk to the metro station and all the shops and attractions. I will be staying here again in September and am looking forward to my visit. I would have no hesitations in recommending this hotel if you are looking for a reasonably priced option in Newcastle.

Room Tip: If you are looking for a view best to have an odd numbered room! My room was even numbered and I ov...
