Premier Inn is our 'go to' hotel of choice for value but this one is not one of their better hotels.
The address is 'Millenium Bridge' but that is a bit of a porkie because it's on the City Road set well back from the Bridge. The crossroads location makes for a racetrack for vehicles early morning and late night. The hotel is opposite a rundown public car park and adjacent to a building site so not very welcoming but there is free parking on site. We stayed during the heatwave but despite the room having no aircon and the window only opening 3 inches for safety the hotel supplied a winter weight duvet so we slept under a single sheet for modesty.
The Thyme restaurant was overpriced so we ate in town for all 4 nights.
The staff were pleasant and friendly and the room was clean and spacious but I expect that for £80 per night plus breakfast.

Room Tip: We asked for a quiet room and were given a room overlooking the City Road raceway so I can't hel...

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your recent stay here at the Premier Inn Newcastle Millenium Bridge. I was pleased that you found the room, cleanliness and team to be good.

I was sorry to hear that the location was not to your liking, we are only a couple minutes walk from the Millennium Bridge and it is the nearest Landmark for reference, also thankfully the site across the road will be completed in September.

Thank you for your other comments re pricing and the duvets unfortunately these are company standards but I will pass your comments on to our Head Office.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Premier Inn again in the near future.

Kind regards

Good location just one road back from water front quay area. Walking distance to town centre ( 20mins), but nice stroll. Clean and comfortable hotel, with all important free parking. Internet access for kids at £3 for 24hrs. Great buffet breakfast, lots of variety and good quality.

Ideally located just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. Very comfortable bed made for a good sleep, except for the hot room due to the very warm weather. A fan was already provided. The reception was smooth, the lady helpful and polite.

The breakfast was self serve but all good and plenty of it, to set us up for a full days walking.

A good value stay.

Room Tip: To access the river just go across the road and down the steps.

We arrived at the hotel to a warm welcome and a good run down of the facilities. When we stayed the night the room was pretty good, a few minor decorative defects but nothing too bad.we had the evening meal in the restaurant here we found the service a little slow and believe it or not we had to chase to pay the bill for our meal which was not overly great, the breakfast however was well presented and the staff were very good. Overall not too bad a stay for a decent price.
