“Great Stay - 10 out of 10”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

I left NZ for a wedding in Newcastle and travelled for 3 days.
On arrival I found the P.I great price, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Room was clean, warm and quiet and food was great.

Central location, comfy room, friendly staff and they were very helpful and accomodating about my vegan dietary requirements in the restaurant.
Bed was very comfy and there were plenty of pillows.
We went to a gig in the city centre and it was walkable. Brilliant!
I was very happy with the facilities but my travelling companion thought the toilet paper was a bit on the thin side (if you are picky about such things!). And she would have liked more than 2 teabags. I would say if you are a big tea lover bring some extra bags! Neither issues are really a deal breaker especially considering the low cost of the room.
Great shower and bath. Tv. Kettle. Hairdryer all provided. Nice views of the bridge.

Great location right next to the bars and restaurants of the quayside and only a 15 minute walk into Newcastle City Centre. The Hotel delivered in all areas, room clean and tidy, comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice bar area to relax. Cannot recommend highly enough.

A good 10 -15 minute walk to the town centre and railway station and not on a bus or metro rail route. Bonus is the free onsite car park and midday check out time.
No shower curtain in bathroom or 2 pin shaver socket available in the room. So make sure you bring a 3 pin adaptor.
Room fine and quiet.

Thank you for comments regarding your recent stay here at the Premier Inn.

Apologies for the lack of shower curtain, this was obviously an oversite by the housekeepers which could have been easily rectified.

We have taken the shaving sockets out of most of the Premier Inn rooms, however we all have a supply of adaptors at reception so you will be aware on your next stay with Premier Inn.

Kind regards

Fancied a weekend away for 2 nights and got this quite cheap online (total: £71).

It is a very clean hotel, smack bang in the middle of Newcastle by the Tyne. Staff very friendly and helpful. There was a 'stag do' on this weekend and it was VERY noisy in the bar/restaurant but apart from that it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay with lots of FREE parking spaces both underneath the hotel and outside.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
