“Usual standard for a premier inn”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Stayed here one night. Staff were great and really helpful. Only downside was i had a group of young women staying in room next to me they came back at 3.30am one of them was crying. Then at 6am a man knocked on my door looking for the room where the woman were staying. I didnt answer door and he eventually gave in after 10mins of knocking.
Staff were very apologetic and told me about the good night guarantee however they cant help it if people cant handle there drink.
Did actually get an ok sleep despite the 2 bouts of noise and managed to sleep in til 11am.

“The Hotel...Great....Need a guest throwing out on 35+ guests behalf?? Dont count on it!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

Ill keep it short... Hotel was great, yatta yatta,.. But because there's MINIMAL night staff on and if a problem arises..and needs sorting- its like trying to find water in the dessert. Some guests (lads in their teens and twenties) had trashed their room..been running around the corridors all night and SCREAMING and shouting at the top of their lungs for, wait!.....2 DAYS before they were even asked to leave. Let alone calm the fudge down. The hotel staff couldn't throw them out because the duty manager had to be present (which he wasn't until the next DAY) and the police had REFUSED to attend. As the "don't do evictions" HA! The staff actually said that to me. The second night of hellish noise wasn't resolved until around 10-11am THE NEXT DAY. They'd been causing noise since flipping 2am!!!!!

Their complete lack of "back bone" to stand up to these thugs presented itself in about 35 guests asking for a refund. THAT BAD. Did i also mention they were in the corridors NAKED and smoking drugs? No? Oh well..they were. I'm amazed they wern't asked to leave sooner because the staff were perhaps scared or too lazy to actually take action. To top it off...my other half is a policeman but couldn't do a thing about it as he was off duty and out of his jurisdiction. We had power and were unable to use it = (

WILL I STAY AT ANOTHER PREMIER INN??? Yes.......But will i stay at the Millennium Bridge hotel again? NO. Their staff have show that in times of actual NEED they just don't cut the mustard. Sorry.

Room Tip: DEFINITELY ask for a room on the back of the hotel an at least either on the middle floor or top flo...

“Premier Inn Newcastle Millenium Bridge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Stayed here 3 nights while visiting family over Christmas. Excellent service, comfort, convenience and value for money. Could not fault anything. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Newcastle. Very convenient for the Quayside and free, plentiful parking a bonus. There were four of us in one room (2 adults and 2 pre-/ teenagers), we had enough space and the beds were very comfortable.

Room Tip: The location was very quiet. We were in a room at the back facing away from the river.

“This hotel was friendly, clean, delivered what it said on the tin and more. Staff absolutely excellent.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012 via mobile

I usually stay in the City Centre premier inn. Which is great too.

This one is a bit smaller. So a bit friendlier. Everything was lovely. Everything prepared for.

I came in one night and had a really bad cough. And the gent on reception even offered me a Honey and Lemon.

Loads of parking. Close to city. And lovely friendly feel.
