“Shopping and banking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2013

I love Grey Street travel on the metro to monument and come up the steps, Greys Monument proudly standing at the top of the street, a place of public speaking and networking, giving a centre point to shops and banks, places to sit and have coffee, walking down looking at original buildings nearer the bottom of the street the place is a multi cultural place buzzing with activity.

“Buildings Galore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Beautiful buildings, amongst the hustle and bustle of town centre. Often a great market there with worldwide food, and crafts.

“Great old buildings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013

Great area to walk with some really nice buildings and great stonework. Shops, bars etc in the area, lots to pick from. Newcastle is rather hilly though so be warned.

always enjoy a walk along this street. Very interesting building architecture. Good shops and bars. We'll worth a visit when you visit Newcastle.

Theatre Royale a must for all visitors.
I'd recommend the Metro Arena 02 too. You won't be dissappointed.
