We have been a couple of times to this restaurant and on both occasions were more than happy with our experience. The dining area is clean, well proportioned and comfortable, the service is relaxed but efficient and the food is delicious. I note that some reviewers say that the portions are too small - you try eating ham hock terrine for starters and then going on to a featherblade steak with all the accompaniments. Obviously some people who are used to dining in the more avant-garde restaurants in London should stay away - then maybe we poor provincials would have a better chance of booking a table.
