My wife, our twin 11 year old boys and I went to eat at Bruges for the first time last Thursday. (A recommendation from the couple who live in the flat above the restaurant!). It was a lovely evening! The two girls who looked after the front of house were smiley and chatty and very efficient. We had the all day menu ('til 7 o'clock) and the main courses were really tasty, well presented and the portions were generous to say the least. (Steak frites; Cajun Tuna; Belly Pork with black pudding mash; Chicken with cheesy Croutons.) The boys finished off with a huge plate of waffles chocolate sauce and ice cream, which they both said was fab! The bill for all 4 of us including a bottle of house white, a pint of delicious Belgian ale and two drinks each for the boys, was just over £60. I think that that is fantastic value. I would highly recommend this small, friendly restaurant!
