We have been here for drinks over the years. For the first time we ate in the restaurant. Started off with a drink at the bar in front of the real fire and then we moved to the lounge sofas to choose from the menu. There is plenty of choice from meat to fish to vegetarian. The crab and prawn gratin starter and the scallops and prawns starter were delicious. Then two of our party had the stroganoffs ( one beef and one the mushroom and cashew). All the food was cooked well and served very hot. We didn't have a dessert as we were all full. Came to about £30 a head for two courses with a bottle of wine, two pints of beer and a gin and tonic and a tip. Also friendly service. We will be going back.
