We stayed in the Green Room for three nights over a long weekend. The room was fine but quite small, certainly in comparison to the other two, although it faces the rear garden and not the road, so is probably quieter. We had no intrusive traffic noise. The B&B is very handy indeed for the town centre, which is less than five minutes walk away. The owner, Pam, is very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Poppy the boxer is extraordinarily soppy and always pleased to see visitors. Breakfast was very good; all the guests share the dining room table, which encourages conversation. The house is charmingly atmospheric, with lots of exposed beams and period features. We would definitely stay again and recommend it wholeheartedly to others.
