Had a sunday lunch at the smiths and have to say it has definitely gone up a notch or 2.
Food was all nice the belly pork starter was fantastic, the dinner was good and the desert (broken trifle) was very nice.
My only gripe really was the plates, cups and poncyness of the meal
I like white plates, that look clean they were not white and had finger marks on them. The mugs have handles you cant hold properly and were not too anyones taste at our table.
Nice food, good service but bad pots is how i would describe it, a little over fussy on the presentation too, big plates tiny portion shoved at one edge
Maybe trying to hard to be posh, but it was quality grub so who cares
