“A humbling experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

We were looking for a boutique bed and breakfast which was close to Alton Towers as were were watching the fireworks there.
I had already warned Wendy, the owner, that we would be late and this didn't seem to be a concern. We finally rocked up at half 9 in the evening, cold to the bone and were greeted with a big smile from Robin and Wendy and a coffee/tea tray with freshly made cakes, (I must get those recipes!) to warm our cockles. This was not only unexpected but greatly appreciated. We were shown to our room which i can only stress reflects the title of the location - luxury. As we curled up on our sofa in front of our LCD tv catching up with X Factor on the freeview box, my partner warmed up in the huge, walk in shower then we wrapped up in the big, fluffy, warm bed and had one of the best nights sleep we have had. Breakfast wasn't too early and we found we had plenty of time to sort our bits out before we left.
You can tell a lot of hard work has gone in to the preparation of the room and maintenance of the cleanliness. We has certainly be staying here again when we return to Alton Towers!

“Best Luxury B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Fantasic welcome from Wendy and Robin they are friendly, attentive and not intrusive. In setting up this business they have thought of every detail to make a guest welcome. The complimentary cream tea on the terrace was superb with freshly baked scones and fresh strawberries. We stayed in the Poppy room with our own private bathroom it was luxurious and the views from the windows are fantastic. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit salad, freshly baked croissants followed by a full English or Vegetarian breakfast complete with Stoke on Trents speciality of Oatcakes. Already recommended it to friends as its ideal location for visiting the Potteries and seeing our son at Keele

“Look No Further - The Best B&B Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

My wife & I have been to lots of good bed & breakfasts but this one is simply the best !

Wendy & Robin are friendly but not intrusive, the whole place is spotlessly clean, really comfortable & the breakfast is beautifully prepared & totally delicious. The home made biscuits & scones are superb & the welcoming cream tea on our arrival made us quickly forget the 5 hour journey !

Amazing views from the room added to our delight at finding this treasure of a B&B.

We would ( & will ) confidently recommend Eastfield to anyone.

“Best by far.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

Fantastic views, lovely couple running this cosy, modern, high class establishment. Complimentary fresh scones, straight from the oven, made the welcoming complete. My girlfriend and I stayed here as we were going to Alton Towers, its no more than an 11 mile car journey. If you do have your own transport, you'd be fools to stay anywhere but here. Compared to the £120+ Alton towers hotel this £68 a night B&B simply makes sense.

Breakfast included fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, toast, full english breakfast (or veggi alternative). Orange juice or Grapefruit. And a pot of tea or a fresh coffee.

It was such a bargain in fact that we had to leave a tip to show our gratuity.

I truly wish the owners every success, and I hope to visit in the future, be it for an alton towers trip or not!

Room Tip: There's only two rooms apparently, but don't be put off. They have a high standard and are v...
