“A good account at The Black Horse”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

Felt a liitle peckish the other day and decided to call in for a light bite.

So glad I did.

Met by a very personable man serving at the bar who had overheard my partner saying she'd like a cup of coffee whilst he attended to another gentleman before us.

Was going to order a couple of sandwiches but was advised that they were very generous so we decided to share one between us. Together with a little side salad and very nice chips, it was more than enough to sate our appetite.

To sum it up, a very pleasant late lunch, served by very pleasant staff.

Thank you and well done.

“Lovely Food In a Lovely Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

We have driven past this pub on many an occasion and never stopped of to eat there until now. It is a great little pub with exceptional beer and food. The food and service was first rate. A great choice of pub classics and the portions were ample enough especially the cheesecake which was to die for. They also have live music on a weekend which we will be going to see very shortly. Can highly recommend a visit if your'e passing through Endon.

“Proper pub grub and beer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2014

Went with friends for lunch last Thursday. Our friends advised ham, eggs and chips so glad they did we all had it. Good thick slice of boiled ham, two fresh fried eggs proper chips and peas all washed down with a pint of Tribune cask. Two meals for £10 a bargain.
