“good space to hang out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

The one in Stoke , as other posters have noted, is very modern + is also attached to local civic offices so you can claim certain benefits, pay council tax etc BUT the one in the photographs on this site is actually Hanley library (Stoke-on-Trent's main city centre library) which I actually prefer because of it's location, size (it is a huge 1970's building) and opening hours are more generous.

“lose yourself”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013

I went to the library to research my family history. Its quite modern, with excellent facilities for research. The staff are helpful and friendly, its very near to town, with several eating places close by. Public transport is also close and frequent.

Great layout..spacious & modern but in character with its surroundings of Stoke . Wish I could find the time to sit and look at the reference material.
