We visited here last year, it has been under threat of closure by the council but I believe this has now been lifted. My son was learning about the Tudors at school and we went along to Ford Green Hall on a Sunday as they had a Tudor day, with people in costumes, traditional dancing from that time, Henry VIII plus lots of things for the children to do. There was even a hog roast! My son has also visited with school. I think its a great place and very historical and more should be made of it, with more theme days, more advertising its a little gem. There are cycle paths, lakes etc close by so a day out is planned again soon.
