“Not a wink of sleep”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We spent a Friday night at this hotel, the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel is over a Domino's pizza and Subway and if you stay in rooms at the rear of the hotel the noise from the food outlets extractor fans cut in every 15 minutes all through the night for about 3-4 minutes at a time so it is almost impossible to get any sleep if you like to sleep with the window open and some fresh air in the room, even with the windows shut the drone was very bad. Reception staff could not have been more helpful on arrival but one of the worst nights sleep ever.
The only other disappointment was at around 2 am, 2 or 3 cars decided to drag race around the Tesco car park for around 15 minutes with the horns honking.

Room Tip: Ask fro a room at the front of the hotel

Had a room facing the petrol garage. No noise at night and didn't need to use my ear plugs! Very comfy bed. Really appreciated 30 mins free wi fi . Short walk ( 20/30) mins into town ( or could have got a bus). Very nice staff on reception.

The Glastonbury travel lodge was a great place to stay. Very clean and the staff very friendly. the location is good and just a short walk in to the town centre.
the travel lodge is located well with plenty of fast food outlets around.

Adequate hotel but we requested a travel cot and got one which was incorrectly assembled and which had only a very hard base and no mattress. There was also no sheets or blankets provided with it. If you stay at this hotel with a baby, you will be comfortable but your baby won't be.

staff were lovely, room was pretty clean if basic, comfy bed and clean sheets, only downside thin curtains and chilly on arrival. room quite spacious so enough room for family of four. location central so impressed by lack of outside noise. domino's pizza next door if you have the munchies!

Lovely clean hotel, basic but all you need for a comfortable nights sleep. Plenty food outlets very close to hotel. Kfc, subway, pizza place and a fish and chip shop. Tesco within walking distance. Lovely area plenty to do and see.

We wanted to visit Glastonbury and Wells and found the Travelodge in Glastonbury was in the correct location. We usually book in our 2 dogs into kennels but saw on the booking form that Travelodge now accepts 2 dogs, with a £20 fee for each dog, so decided to take our dogs with us. This made our stay more enjoyable and the dogs were happy! We asked for a quiet room so we were not disturbed by the traffic, although the location was not the best it was acceptable as a budget hotel.
