I recently spent two nights here in what turned out to be a very neat little house - though not so little once you are inside! - in a quiet side street only a few yards from the main High Street and all of the usual Glastonbury attractions. Nice room, a welcome, welcoming pot of tea on arrival and a good breakfast all went to making a very pleasant stay.
The Abbey, the Tor and the Chalice Well gardens are all within ambling distance. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed
This is our second stay at Haydn House and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The rooms are wonderful, the breakfasts are excellent and the Hosts very friendly and helpful. Haydn House is right close to the Abbey ruins and to the centre of town, couldn't be better for us, with ample parking not twenty yards away. The Chalice Wells garden and the Tor are only a stones throw away. We loved it. I can't recommend it highly enough. And saving the best for last, it is great value for money. You will not find better anywhere.
We had a lovely weekend at haydn House staying in The Abby suite....sharon and Jon couldn't have been more helpful, so friendly and willing to do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfasts was fab, super comfy beds, very peacful location with views of the abby, Would definitely stay again.....Thankyou for a really lovely 2 days.
We stayed in the Silver Birch twin room which was quite big enough and very clean. Very friendly wonderful hosts. Positioned right in the middle of town so ideal with short walks to the Tor, abbey and right by the High Street. Excellent breakfast. We parked in a small car park just by the hotel which costs a few pounds for 24hours. I have stayed at a few places in Glastonbury but will come back for my next trip.
We stayed in the Abbey View suite at Haydn House and could not rate it more highly. The room was beautiful, with a spectacular view of Glastonbury Abbey, a convenient car park nearby (this is a public car park but only costs £3.60 to park all day and is right next to the hotel) and it's central location with regards to the main attractions as well as a short walk to the Tor. John and Sharon were endlessly friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit.
