First time caravaners! So I think we may have to lower our standards in future trips.
This site was amazing. Very well run, very quiet and fantastic shower block. Plenty of walks straight from the site. Good shop on site. Oh, and don't forget to try the cakes!!

We stayed here for 3 nights late august for the first time and realy enjoyed it. The park it self is in such a wonderful location, and so peaceful. The staff are very friendly and helpful from the time you book the holiday through to when you depart the site. Anyone wanting to take dog/dogs also this is the ideal camp site to stay at as dogs are well catered for, including a very large exercise area with a enclosed dog wash/shower. There is also excellent amenities for any one who is less able travelers.

Room Tip: Any one who has no tent/caravan or motorhome, there is cabins on site that people can stay in.

What an amazing site. The pitches were well maintained, option of both hard standing or grass. Staff were really helpful and knew the surrounding well. Shop was well equipped. Amenities were well maintained and very clean. Would definitely recommend and return.

We arrived and were guided direct to our pitch. We had a fantastic week away, the new amenities block is brilliant, very clean and all facilities were remarkable. Small shop onsite is well stocked with food, camping equipment, beverages and the most amazing homemade cakes which change daily and more often than not there are 4 flavours a day showing testament to the taste of them.

They allow dogs on site but you don't know they are there as they are so quiet, they have dedicated dog walk areas. There are recycling areas as well as normal rubbish areas which are emptied daily, there are also water points on each area along with waste areas.

Being an adult only site I was unsure what mix of people would be on site but there were varying ages so no one felt too old or too young. Everyone was very friendly and no issues arose.

The site is very close to Glastonbury town, Clarkes Village Street, Chedder, Bristol is an hour drive away so there are accessible areas about and on site staff are always happy to help.

They also have a food club in operation in which several places close by offer discounts for the site visitors, we had a lovely meal at The Pipers which we would highly recommend.

We stayed here in July for our second time. Although slightly expensive, the service, cleanliness and openness of the site warrant every penny. The fishing lake is well stocked and a pleasure to fish. Facilities for dogs, shower, washing machine etc are better than some sites for humans. Excellent area for walking and in close proximity to the beautiful city of Wells. All staff were excellent but a special mention must go to the cleaners, not just a job, done with pride......just like her cakes!

What a truly fabulous adults only campsite; our best in over 30 years caravanning/motorhoming. It's pretty, peaceful, beautifully maintained and everywhere spotlessly clean. Facilities are excellent. Great showers. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. So nice to meet others who enthusiastically recycle as we do. The home made cakes are delicious! Lovely location within easy walking distance of the Tor and Glastonbury. Wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back.
