This B&B is worth the trip to Dunster. Sue, makes every guest feel at home and truly loves to make your holiday the best possible. She went out of her way to make our trip a memorable one and we would return in a heartbeat. The cream tea that we received upon check in made all the travel worth it.

I am almost reluctant to leave this message, because once you have visited this wonderful B&B, you will want to return over and over and you just want to keep this discovery to yourself. Sue and Charles are the perfect hosts ~ you can tell that they are well travelled, because they understand the needs of the more discerning client, with attention to detail being evident everywhere. Our stay was faultless, from the wonderful breakfasts, sumptuous towels in the bathroom, white linen napkins and tablecloths ~ I could go on and on. Congratulations to them both ~ we will definitely be returning.

Just returned from a 2 night break at Millstream Cottage with my husband and 2 friends. We were greeted by Sue on our arrival with tea or coffee and delicious homemade apple cake. Our rooms were beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed (and more) Sue and Charles were so friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were excellent. The cottage was extremely cosy and after we had been out in Dunster in the evening it was nice to be able to sit in the residents lounge and chat with our friends.

Earlier this year, I was looking to book somewhere special for my girlfriend's 30th birthday. I had a look on TripAdvisor to see which B&Bs had the best rating. Millstream Cottage came up with incredible reviews, so I reserved a couple of nights in May. The reviews were dead on: I've stayed in many B&Bs across the country over the years, and Millstream Cottage is easily the best I've been to so far. When we arrived, we were greeted with delicious chocolate cake (probably among the best cake I've ever eaten too!), the service was brilliant, the breakfast was fantastic, the room comfortable...I could go on. Highly recommended.

Millstream Cottage is a very comfortable, beautiful B&B with copious and tasty breakfasts, a very warm welcome with tea and home-made cake and every care taken by Sue and Charles to make everyone's stay memorable. There are several restaurants and cafés within minutes' walking distance and Dunster is quaint and picturesque. A perfect base for exploring Exmoor and the nearby coast.

When all the reviews are excellent you might be forgiven for being a little suspicious. Surely there must be some imperfections. Well I couldn't find any.
Sue and Charles treated my wife and I to great service, including homemade apple cake with tea on arrival - nice touch. The room was spotless and comfortable and the cooked breakfast was superb. Our breakfast conversation did not have to compete with superfluos background music.
All this for a very reasonable price so if you are looking to stay in Dunster you won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Room Tip: If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the road

This was our second time at the mill stream and we just love it. We were made to feel very welcome and it felt just like home. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean and you get a big chunk of cake with a big teapot of tea on arrival.
The beds are comfortable and each room has plenty of tea and coffee and homemade cookies.
I cannot recommend this wonderful b&b highly enough.
We will certainly be visiting again.
