We stayed for four nights at Bramblewood for the May Bank holiday& it was FAB!. Location is fantastic, very peaceful with pretty surrounding scenery & just 5 mins to Cheddar Gorge & the bus stop, just in case you wanted to travel further a field without taking the car to Wells, Weston Super Mare etc.
Amanda & Colin are fantastic hosts, very friendly & warming by the end of our visit we felt has though we had made some new friends. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Amanda gave us some very welcome advice on places to see outside of the Gorge & super places to eat of an evening.
The en-suite room is highly recomended by the way, spacious, spotlessly clean with a very very comfy double bed ensuring a great nights sleep, the views of the back of the Gorge from this room are to die for. Tea & coffee facilitys are plentiful with little extra touches like bottled water, chocs & bikkies go down very nicely.
Breakfast was way too much !! (be warned) freshly cooked & the choice from the menu was varied, something for everyone.
Although this is a family home has well has run has a B&B, I have to say this is probably one of the best that I have stayed in, we loved it so much we are hoping to go back for the August Bank holiday.
