I am really sorry you had an awful experience of a drunk waiter in a "halal" restaurant. As far as I know, the waiters in the eastern eye are forbidden by their religion to drink. As in the waiters’ religion it is considered a sin to drink or “haram”. Most of the waiters in Eastern Eye have grown up here in England and are getting their qualifications in Bath University. It is quite surprising that you think these waiters doing their university degrees are not being able to speak English. Hmm… I think maybe you should stop judging people by their colour of skin. You said "what a shame we were England?" and at the same time refer to the waiter speak. As we all know the third person in English gets an s at the end of the conjugated verb. There are quite a few more grammatical and spelling mistakes, nevertheless you think you can judge people’s English. I am not going to pick on each of your, mistakes because I am just a waiter. I would recommend you, however, to be a bit more careful in your judgements. Maybe you went to another restaurant altogether, the description you give certainly does not fit the “Eastern Eye”.
