I stayed with Rob and Anna for over 3 Months while doing contract work in Bath and for that entire time i thought the service was Magnificent. The rooms were spottlessly clean and had a very homely feel to them, with wireless internet Access freely available.
Also you couldn't hope to meet two friendlier people than Anna and Rob. They both go out of there way to make you feel as welcome as possible.

Having stayed in one or two Hotels and Guest houses in Bath before hearing of Roban house I would strongly recommend this service.

Our family spent a week at the Roban House while visiting our son in Bath, and the service and surroundings were excellent. The rooms were clean and tastefully furnished and being able to prepare breakfast in the kitchen was a great timesaver when we wanted to get going early in the morning. The concierge's recommendations for places to see, tour guide companies to use, and places to shop were excellent, and we would recommend Roban House without hesitation to anyone who would like to take in the beauty and history of this World Heritage site.

Rob and Ann run an excellent boarding house. Stayed for 2 weeks when Bath was busy, very Family Friendly and good kitchen facilities. Both were friendly and helped me with recommendations of were to visit.
Would recommend staying there and would go back again.

We've been recomended this place for a friend that lived there for nearly an year ....Because was an indication we made the booking via telephone and explained was recommendation . At the first they sound very friendly and welcoming .
Then we received a confirmation via e-mail saying was £75,00 a night without breakfast ...a bit strange for a B&B but we wanted stay there beause as i said , was a recomendation and of course to help a family business instead of paying £80,00 in a big hotel chain with breakfast , etc..
3 days later , and 25 days before the date of the booking we had to cancelled . For my surprise , we got an e-mail back saying there's a charge of £20,00 for administration fees .. WHAT? Doesn't say anything on the booking confirmation , it was suposed to be a friendly place ??? THEY HAVE 25 DAYS IN ADVANCE!!!!! We sent e-mail , we phoned and nothing . And don't get me wrong , £20,00 is nothing , i know ...but i've been charged without an authorisation . I feel robbed from the ROBAN HOUSE and i have a very bad memory from Bath before going in there.... Flavia Ferreira - Brazil
